BPM in ERD

We deal in Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation projects, the activity spans over almost 30,000 sq. km area. There is enormous data for this large area at each and every step of construction so database magnitude is too high for manual handling.

In ERD, BPM is integration of Engineering Management and Information Technology to conclude an efficient Database Management Suite. It is a systematic approach to improve business processes at Organizational level. Various relevant activities in the system make it more ingenious and competent; furthermore capability of adapting changes and improvements at all levels ranks it most effective and guarantees system success.

NESPAK-ERD has formulated a tailored Business Process Management (BPM) Suite as per the requirement. The BPM suite is to develop and maintain entire database for this project which helps to manage and monitor ongoing construction processes in an improved and advanced technical manner.

These systems are series of activities and relational databases. Every building/facility in the project has at least 300 entries including data of whole construction process. Major entries are site survey, site assessment, structural assessment, design & bidding documentation phase, tendering & award of contract, billing of the contract & the construction supervision reports from site.

The running of this efficient but complex system requires dedicated professional inputs so a special team has been employed comprising of Engineers & IT professionals to ensure proper system & prompt work flow.
