Construction of Humanitarian Response Facility at Peshawar – United Nations World Food Program (UN-WFP)
WFP Pakistan in conjunction with the Pakistan National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) worked on positioning Humanitarian Response Facilities (HRFs) at strategically identified locations within Pakistan to act as bases for relief operations during emergencies and as logistical hubs during all other times. NESPAK won the project through competitive bidding, the project is being carried out in a number of phases. Under Phase 2 M/s NESPAK performed construction supervision of HRF at Peshawar KP, worth Rs. 176 Million. The project was inaugurated on May 19th 2015, Chief Minister KP, Pervaiz Khattak was the guest of honor at the ceremony. Mr. Salman Shahid, Project Manager, Disaster Management & Reconstruction Division, on behalf of NESPAK collected the shield for timely completion and efficient construction and contract management.
