Narrative Description of Project:

The Construction of Human Response Facility (HRF) Sukkur was basically planned to address and build up the effective responsive capability of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) & ProvincialDisaster Management Authority PDMA. There are several beneficial aspects of this facility . Few are as follows.

Strategically positioned for most vulnerable areas of Sindh

Centrally located to extend support to neighboring provinces like Punjab and Baluchistan if required.

Accessible in times of flooding or natural disasters

It has sufficient capacity to accommodate the envisaged humanitarian requirement in   Province Sindh

The project was generously funded by the governments of Japan, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Netherlands, and United States of America.  Without their support this project could not have been possible.

Description of Actual Services provided in the Assignment:

  • Review of design and finding solution of complications and ambiguities.
  • Detailed Planning & and Supervision during execution.
  • Contract Management regarding technical & financial aspect.
